The hotel’s main bar, Peacock Alley, originally connected two hotels (Waldorf and Astoria) and is showcasing the iconic Waldorf Astoria Clock, which for generations was the meeting spot for New Yorkers. Crafted in London, the Clock was originally commissioned by Queen Victoria for the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago.
The hotel’s main restaurant, Lex Yard, boasts Chef Michael Anthony, who is meticulously recreating some familiar classic dishes such as Waldorf Salad.
